Education: associate degree

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of California (or eligible for licensure)
  • Strong manual therapy skills and willingness to continue developing them through mentorship and continuing education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with both patients and team members
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced outpatient setting
  • Positive, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., WebPT or similar) preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, mobility, and overall wellness
  • Provide hands-on care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately and in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and support staff to ensure a smooth and effective patient experience
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, self-care strategies, and injury prevention techniques
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and motivating presence during all patient interactions
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment aligned with Peak Orthopedic’s core values
  • Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and staff meetings to support ongoing professional growth
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
